Prior to this Saugata led the development of Original Content at Hotstar and was instrumental in setting up the first content slate for Hotstar Specials. He has also worked for the Star TV network for several years leading channel programming teams before moving to Hotstar. Before joining the Star TV network, Saugata used to be the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Pan Macmillan India, one of India’s top publishing companies.
