Bio

With more than 15 years of experience of evaluating trends in India’s media, telecommunications and entertainment industries, Mihir leads Media Partners Asia’s (MPA) Mumbai-based team in research and consulting. At Media Partners Asia (MPA), Mihir has undertaken responsibilities on – strategic consulting, business and financial data analysis, modeling and forecasting, company valuations, asset appraisals, due diligence and creating research reports covering various segments of video and digital industries in India.

Mihir has been a key contributor to engagements with strategic media groups as also financial institutions in US, UK, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia and India. He has worked closely with Comcast, CJ, Sumitomo, Scripps, Saban, Sky and Liberty Global to develop, detail and present market entry strategies for India.

He has worked in close partnership with Disney, Tata Sky, Videocon, Hathway, Network 18, IBF, TRAI, Zee Entertainment, Discovery and Time Warner for operational and strategic projects. Awarded as one of Asia’s Best Analyst by The Wall Street Journal Survey 2010. Widely quoted in India trade media and press; has spoken at various summits including Google Video OTT, APOS tech, Asia Video Industry Association, CASBAA India, APSCC Satellite Conference, Morgan Stanley Annual India Summit, Kotak Institutional Equities Conference, amongst others. Mihir has graduate and post-graduate degrees including B.Com (University of Mumbai, India) and MBA in Finance from Welingkar Institute of Management (Mumbai).
