"Indian top 10...so much rich, almost overwhelming, vibrant colour surrounded me on my first trip to India, all my senses were filled with the energy, a raw immediacy in the air, my conformist logical head wanted to shoot saturated rich dramatic colour, then my gut feeling said black and white juxtaposed with a natural drawn light reflected the freer, mood I wanted. Only had a week in India so lots of tests of long exposures with a stills camera, this erased my fears a little, so I thought I had a chance of achieving something." - Pete Bishop
