Rob considers himself to be one of the luckiest people on the planet, not just because he’s got an awesome wife (he does) and wonderful children (they aren’t really…actually more trouble than they’re worth) but because he’s got a career doing what he likes to do, actually loves to do, and he gets a paycheck for it.

He found promos, or the other way around, a long time ago and since then has been behind the scenes shaping Asia’s promo gene pool…training/running/pushing promo teams everywhere to the point now where there’s a bar tab in pretty much every country between India and Japan waiting to be paid. While he’s an analogue dinosaur in a digital world, there’s still a thing or two you can learn from this old ass kicker. Or is it kisser? I think it’s kicker. Yeah, kicker. Come and see.

Session: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly…Where We’ve Been and Where We’re Going

The TV world is changing at a rate faster than my daughter deciding what to wear to a dance. And for most of us, it’s a little scary. There’s so many questions, and not a lot of answers…and those who we’ve listened to before have been as wrong as two left shoes on a drunken lama at…well, that’s not working…I was going to say ‘wrong as Trump’ but I’m just sick of that bastard. Anyway, it’s time for a bird’s eye view of what’s happening in our world, then let’s zero in on what’s working, what isn’t and where we seem to be going. The simple truth seems to be, follow the money…but that’s only in catch up mode…we want to be where the money follows us. I don’t profess to have any of the answers…but I’ve seen a few road signs and I’ve got a map and a compass that are all pointing in the same direction…and its not too bad.
