Puja Vohra

Executive Vice President of Marketing & Digital


Puja Vohra serves as executive vice president of marketing and digital for truTV. In this role, she is responsible for the development and execution of all on and off-air marketing, digital and creative services strategies, as well as creating and implementing innovative campaigns to expand the truTV brand and promote the network and its programming to consumers and the trades. She is based in New York and reports to Chris Linn, president of truTV.

Vohra joined truTV in March 2014 after serving as senior vice president of marketing at Oxygen Media, where she managed the network’s consumer and ad sales marketing teams. During her time at Oxygen, she launched several shows including The Glee Project. She also previously had consumer and ad sales marketing roles at Bravo Media, making a splash with several successful show launches including early seasons of Project Runway, Top Chef and The Real Housewives franchise as well as the network’s first “Affluencers” trade campaign. Prior to her time in the US, Vohra held marketing roles at Seagram India and MTV India. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Delhi University and an MBA from the Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Beyond her job responsibilities, Vohra serves as a board member for PromaxBDA International and has worked with the South Asian Women’s Leadership Forum. She is also on the executive leadership team of Turner Asia. She’s been a speaker on several high-profile industry panels including the Variety Massive Summit, NAB Show, TVOT and Promax. Vohra was also honored as a 2016 Broadcasting & Cable Digital All-Star. Under her direction, the truTV marketing and digital teams have been the recipients of several awards including a CLIO Grand and CLIO Gold for a breakthrough social response campaign, a number of Promax Golds.

Vohra lives in Brooklyn with her husband Laxman, her 9-year-old daughter Mira and the newly-adopted hound pup Bailey Buttcheek. This description didn’t ask for it but if she could only eat one thing it would be peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from Sarabeth.
